Synopsis The Dark Knight 2008 Hollywood Movie
Eight years after the Joker's reign of anarchy, the Dark Knight must return to defend Gotham City against the enigmatic jewel thief Catwoman and the ruthless mercenary Bane as the city teeters on the brink of complete annihilation.

My views
"Why so serious?" This movie is just too awesome. Joker(Heath Ledger) is just so psychotic, scarier, sadistic and psychologically disturbing than any other previous villains.  It's definitely his best performance ever though he is no more with us, his applauded performance of the joker will surely be remembered. Bale marvels as Bruce Wayne or Batman, Ledger has made "The Joker" in to an iconic movie villain. His performance belongs there at the top with Hopkins Lecter. The Joker has finally been portrait properly on movie, he has earned his place between the big boys in movie villanworld. This is the true Joker every Batman fan knows, loves and fears. Ledger deserves any and every movie award known to man for this brilliant display. He's made his way of telling that "I will always be remembered" movie. Perfect directing, perfect story, perfect balance between action and drama, everything is perfect. The direction for the movie was delivered great and the explosions really worked for the movie :P

Surely recommend this movie for action followers and to see the performance of  .

My views
The movie is complex, sophisticated, big, filled with too much minute information in most of the scene but the plot is insanely brilliant. The director has used his dynamic skills to implant them with us to experience this unique masterpiece. Inception is a movie experience so awesome and in the end so incredible, that it truly is unmissable, and will remain a benchmark for many filmmakers in years to come. If you looking out for the movie with the similar concept of entering dreams, you can give movie "Paprika" a try ;)

My views
First of all this is an American style remake of the Hong Kong superhit Internal Affairs.
This film is perfectly set with intense action and suspense scene while adding to little amount of humor at times. The script is just top notch with superb acting style. This is one of the most entertaining and jittery crime story I have ever seen in a while. Check both the movies if you get a change, you won't regret it :)

Snatch

Title: Snatch
Genre: Comedy, Crime
Director:
Cast:   , ,

Watch trailer here

Synopsis True Snatch 2000 Hollywood Movie
Unscrupulous boxing promoters, violent bookmakers, a Russian gangster, incompetent amateur robbers, and supposedly Jewish jewelers fight to track down a priceless stolen diamond.

My views
Snatch is a twisting, confusing and crazy movie. Imagine the Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at Disney Word on acid, and this is what you get my friend. Believe it or not, this mass confusion and complete insanity is very entertaining.  If any of you people  loved 'Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels' as much as I did, do yourself a favor and see this movie as well. Snatch is a bit more serious than Lock Stock, but when it's funny, you will laugh till your lungs burst. The performances were just as great as  with Jason Statham and Pitt leading the pack. So, if you have never seen Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, I would see that first before seeing Snatch so you can get adjusted to style. I still think that it is stupid to compare either two movies to Pulp Fiction, but it is in the same ballpark as Pulp. Go snatch a copy of 'Snatch' and keep subtitles ready to enjoy this flick ;)

 Black Swan

Title: Black Swan
Genre: Drama, Thriller
Director:
Cast: , ,

Watch trailer here

Synopsis Black Swan 2010 Hollywood Movie
A committed dancer wins the lead role in a production of Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" only to find herself struggling to maintain her sanity.

My views
'Black Swan' is close to another animated thriller movie 'Perfect Blue'. This movie  is Aronofsky's fifth feature film, and it shows how his directing ability is somehow getting better. It is incredibly revolutionary and mature in this film. The ballet scenes are all very frail and soft, yet there's always an underlying tension. This tension eventually breaks through as the film at times switches to a much darker and more disturbing mood. We are lulled into a false sense of security in many aspects of the film, as it builds  to the shocking and chilling climax. The movie flows so beautifully and it delicately weaves in and out of its multitude of moods that keeps us watching and waiting, as the film only grows darker and darker. Black Swan is sensual, seductive, lustful, and intense, and Aronofsky's direction captures it all perfectly. It is a film that wraps itself around your brain, rendering you speechless for its entire length. There is just something so unique and so incredible about this film that it almost felt awkward stepping back into reality when it was all over. Black Swan is a masterpiece, and definitely one of the best of year 2010.

Director:
Cast: Christian Bale, Jennifer Jason Leigh

Synopsis The Machinist 2004 Hollywood Movie
An industrial worker who hasn't slept in a year begins to doubt his own sanity.

My views
Trever Reznick() is an industrial machine operator who hasn't slept in a year and begins to doubt his own sanity as if he is going crazy. A horrible accident in the workplace causes him to fall further down the spiral. Is there a conspiracy against him or is he going insane? Unrecognizable delivers one of the most committed performances on film. He not only physically inhabits Trever with his skeletal appearance, he also mentally nurtures all the nuances of pain, fear, madness and pleasure that build as his character's reason for a year of insomnia is revealed at the very end. This is a indeed very moody and dark atmospheric film.

Synopsis The Prestige 2006 Hollywood Movie
The rivalry between two magicians becomes more exacerbated by their attempt to perform the ultimate illusion.

My views
The movie looks dark, moody and serious in the trailer but just have your butt down and watch this movie which will surprise you for sure as well as entertain you. This is the movie which got me into Christian Bale. Hatred and obsession are well shown in this movie. The movie goes back and  forth between time and different places and might get little confused but don't losen patience, the end will surely surprise you. A worth watch.

Synopsis Gladiator 2000 Hollywood Movie
When a Roman general is betrayed and his family murdered by an emperor's corrupt son, he comes to Rome as a gladiator to seek revenge.

My views
Gladiator depicts an early part of Roman Empire. The story is beautiful and with epic picturization. The movie is not just about fighting but about the life struggles of a man to avenge his family brutal deaths. Gladiator is filled with many memorable moments that one would need to see more than once to fully appreciate. The excitement felt for me when Rome is first shown in all its wonder and marvel is my favorite scene.  I would recommend it to anyone who can stomach intensity and enjoy an epic story for the ages.
